GSC to fill vacancy in January

Citizens interested in being considered by the Luzerne County Government Study Commission to fill the current vacancy should submit letters of intent and resumes to Chairman James Haggerty. Both electronic submissions and hard copies will be accepted. Letters are due by end of business, December 31, 2009.

Welcome to the Official Website of the Luzerne County Government Study Commission!

The government study commission serves as a representation of the community at large in examining the current local government, considering alternatives, reaching decisions on how the local government might best be run, and presenting their recommendations to the voters.

Public meetings are held every Wednesday at 7pm in the Stettler Learning Center of Wyoming Seminary, 201 N. Sprague St., Kingston, PA 18704.
